Company Overview
AutoXpert Services LLC (AXS) was founded to create a truly unique American enterprise centered around a passion that drives much of America—the automobile. We provide expert, industry-leading automotive services, including vehicle maintenance, inspections, repairs, accessory installations, and technical consulting for vehicle owners, drivers, car dealerships, and manufacturers. Leveraging our extensive experience in automotive service and quality assurance, we are dedicated to delivering safe, reliable, and exceptional customer experiences, whether in our Liberty Lake shop or through our convenient mobile services.
About the Owner
Jim Wiberg – Founder & ASE Master Certified Technician
Jim Wiberg is an ASE Master Certified automotive technician and industry professional with over 20 years of experience spanning vehicle service, retail operations, business process improvement, and quality assurance.
Jim’s passion for automobiles began in childhood, spending countless hours in his family garage with his father building go-carts, tinkering with engines, and repairing a variety of machines. By age 14, he convinced his father to enroll him in a mail-order ATV, motorcycle, and small engines repair course—dedicating every spare moment to learning while his peers played.
This early fascination with vehicles inspired Jim to pursue a career in the automotive industry. He graduated from the Capital Area Career Center in Mason, Michigan, with a degree in Automotive Technology and began training as an apprentice technician in the GM AYES (Automotive Youth Educational System) program at a Chevrolet dealership in Lansing, MI. Over the next seven years, he gained hands-on experience as a full-service technician at major brand dealerships and a high-line independent service garage, eventually advancing to service consultant and shop manager.
Jim’s career then took him overseas as a shop supervisor for a defense contractor in Afghanistan, overseeing the maintenance of military vehicles and equipment. He later moved into corporate technical consulting, joining Ford and then Toyota, where he spent 11 years in multiple roles within product quality and service support. His positions included field technical specialist supporting dealers, field product engineer investigating quality issues, quality engineer leading product investigations, and engineering manager in Toyota’s powertrain component quality group. During this time, Jim also pursued business and systems engineering studies through BYU-Idaho online courses.
An entrepreneur at heart, Jim recognized a gap in the automotive industry: a shortage of businesses delivering both high-quality vehicle service and exceptional customer experiences. Motivated to fill that need, he founded AutoXpert Services, creating a service model designed to exceed customer expectations while serving the community with integrity, expertise, and care.
